Statistical Ledger Entry
The Statistical Ledger Entry screen allows you to enter or adjust quantities in the statistical ledger. This does not update the project or subsidiary ledgers. Examples where a statistical ledger entry can be used include:
-
Listing various Statistical accounts and values from the statistical ledger. An example might be showing number of employees along with the voluntary / involuntary employee terminations to report on employee turnover.
-
Combining statistical data with financial information to create key metrics. An example would be adding a metric for Revenue per employee or Personnel cost per employee to the Income Statement.
- Used to create formulas or act as variables in calculations for General Ledger Allocations.
Because values are not posted to the project or subsidiary ledgers, it is not necessary to enter project or subsidiary information. Some statistical ledger entries may need to be reversed in a future posting period and the Reverse Entry options allows you to define when the entry should be reversed.
