Organization
The Organization screen allows you to define organizations. For example, organizations can represent departments in a company. They are used to categorize employees, projects, and transactions. Organizations are used in reporting to organize data into sections.
General
In the General area, enter information to define the organization.

Company |
Enter or select a company that owns the organization. |

Code | Enter a unique alphanumeric key to identify the document. Once a code has been entered and the document has been submitted to final, it typically cannot be changed. |

Name | Enter a name to describe the document. The name does not have to be unique. |

Enter or select the employee responsible for the organization. |

| Overhead Pool | Enter or select an active Labor Overhead Pool. This allows a Labor Overhead Group to be attached to an Organization. Processing would then look to the Organization for a Labor Overhead Pool. If none is found, then it will use the Employee’s Labor Overhead Pool. | |

Select the status of the document. |
