Measure

The Measure screen allows you to define a unit of measure that can be assigned to a unit. This is used to measure the quantity entered for a unit. It is also used on reports and in billing to describe the value of the units.

Examples of measures include: copy, mile, day, foot, liter, week, and site.

General

In the General area, define the unit type.

 Field Description
Code Enter a unique alphanumeric key to identify the document. Once a code has been entered and the document has been submitted to final, it typically cannot be changed.
Name Enter a name to describe the document. The name does not have to be unique.
  Short Name Enter a short name to describe the measure.
  Status

Select the status of the document.
