Final Bill Request Assistant
The Final Bill Request Assistant allows you to view and update the Final Bill Request information.
The Final Bill Request Assistant comes from the prebill and has the same properties as the Final Bill Request. It can also be viewed from the Create Final Bill option, which is a right click option on the Bills Inquiry.
Attachments from the prebill used to create a final bill, not including prebill reports, are copied to the new final bill and available to view in the attachment pane of the Final Bill. See attachments for more information.
General
In the General area, enter general information about the final bill request.

| Suffix |
Enter or select any active input document suffix that is available for the current document type. This can be used in reports to select or sort documents. |

Document Number | Enter a unique document number to identify this document.

Document Date | Enter or select the date the Final Bill was created. This defaults to the current date. | ||
| Description | Enter text to describe the nature of the request beyond the typical posting data. | |||

Posting Date |
This defaults to the next available open posting date equal to or after the current date, if none exists then select the first available open posting date. The posting date must allow Final Bills. |

Through Posting Date |
Displays the final prebill through posting date of the selected prebills that will be used to create the final bill. When multiple Prebills are selected and displayed with different dates, the latest Through Date is used. If any of the Through Posting Dates are less than the Prebill Posting Date, the Through Posting Date will default to the Posting Date. This ensures all of the transactions are on the Final Bill. |

Through Transaction Date |
Displays the final prebill through transaction date of the selected Prebills that will be used to create the final bill. When multiple Prebills are selected and displayed with different dates, the latest Through Date is used. |

| Include Unreviewed Bill Items | This feature is read only on the Final Bill Request Assistant. | |||
| Auto Submit | Check Auto Submit for the option of submitting final bills automatically. Final bills with Auto Submit checked that do not contain errors or warnings are sent directly to Final and will bypass In Progress. | |||
Bill Defaults
In the Bill Defaults area, enter defaults for the final bill request.

| From Date |
This date indicates the earliest date for selected transactions. When multiple Prebills are selected and displayed with different dates, the earliest From Date is used.

Bill Date | This date appears as the document date in the Bill document and is used for aging purposes. The default is the current date. | ||
| Bill Prefix |
Enter a prefix for the bill number. This is used to generate a bill number when auto-numbering is not used. Between one and four alphanumeric characters can be entered. |

| Bill Starting Number | The bill starting number is used to allot a bill number when a company is not using auto-numbering and a bill number has not been entered in the line item bill number. Bill Starting Number is only required if the system does not find a default Final Bill auto counter. Default auto counter is a Final Bill auto counter with no company specified. | |||
Projects
The Projects area allows you to search for and review all project and project transactions for inclusion in the final bill. The projects are grouped into an Eligible list and an Ineligible list. Each project includes a reason why the line item will or will not be included. Eligible line items can manually be removed from the list. Returned instances are limited to those that match the selected Through Posting Date, Through Transaction Date and any entered restrictions.

| Exclude from Billing | Select this to indicate you have chosen to exclude this Project / Bill Term when creating a prebill. | |
| Eligibility | Displays if the Project / Bill Term is Eligible or Ineligible for inclusion when a final bill is created. | |
| Reason |
Displays the reason why a Project / Bill Term is included or excluded when creating prebills. The default is None. |

Note: Selecting the Cancel Final Bill action clears the final bill information from the Prebill Inquiry when it is rerun. This only occurs if the final bill canceled was initially created from a prebill using the Final Bill Request Assistant. |
