Manage Final Bill Requests

The Final Bill Request screen allows you to create final bills. From this screen, you can search for and select the projects and project transactions included on a final bill.

Search for Transactions

  1. In the General area, enter the required and any additional fields. Document Number, Document Date, Posting Date, Through Posting Date, and Through Transaction Date are required.
  2. In the Bill Default area, enter the required and any additional fields. Bill Date and Bill Starting Number are required.
  3. Click restrictions button to toggle the area open, and then enter any necessary restrictions to limit the results. For more information on restrictions, see Restrictions.
  4. In the Projects area, click the Run button.
    A list of items that match the selections made in the General area and any restrictions are displayed. The projects are grouped into an Eligible list and an Ineligible list. Each project includes a reason why the line item will or will not be included. New searches will add any new items to the current list. In the Results column, new rows display as Current Results and rows from previous searches display as Previous Results. However, if the Through Posting Date or Through Transaction Date are changed, previous search results are removed.

Remove a Line Item

Once you have searched for transactions, select one or more line items from the Projects list and then select the Remove button on the context tab to remove the instance from the Line Items list.

Exclude a line item

Once you have searched for transactions, select one or more line items from the Projects list and then right-click and select the Exclude button on the context menu to exclude the instance from the Line Items list.

 

Note: You can define an alternative currency rate at the line item level of the Final Bill Request using the Exchange Date, Source Company Currency, Initial Rate, Force, and Force Rate fields.
