Expense Resource Class

The Expense Resource Class screen allows you to add and define expense resource classes. Expense resource classes are used to schedule expense costs and to calculate and organize comparisons to project expense budgets.

General

In the General area, enter information to define the expense resource class.

Field		Description
	Code	Enter a unique code for the expense resource class. Once a code has been entered and submitted, it cannot be changed.
	Name	Enter a name to describe the expense resource class. The name does not have to be unique.
	Multiplier Group	Select the desired multiplier group to be assigned to this expense resource class. This is used to calculate effort for scheduled costs.
	Budget Category	Enter or select the budget category associated with the expense resource class. Any effort calculated for the expense resource class is mapped to the selected budget category to derive or compare budgets. Only budget categories with a labor/expense type of Expense can be selected.
	Status	Select the status of the expense resource class.
