Bill Style
The Bill Style screen allows you to establish styles for the billing reports defined in Bill Format. These styles allow you to create standards used for client bills. The configuration values that control the bill presentation can be set to default values and optionally "fixed" so those values cannot be changed on the project.

Warning: Making changes to an existing Project’s Bill Structure or Bill Style can introduce a risk that Previous Billings will need to be reallocated. See Bill History Correction Procedure for examples of when to reallocate previous billings, make changes to bill structure when reallocation is not needed and steps required for reallocating correctly. There are certain conditions in the Bill Structure that, if changed, pose issues in the next Prebill. This will usually come in the form of Previous Billings values being dropped, leading to miscalculated current billings in many cases. The changes that pose issues may include: 1. Changing Constrain Level 2. Adding Parent Tasks 3. Moving Task across Bill Terms |
