Bill Format
The Bill Format screen allows you to add and define bill formats. Bill formats establish the reports that are used to create bills. Fee types, controls, and configurations are also defined on a bill format.
General
In the General area, enter bill format information.

Code | Enter a unique alphanumeric key to identify the document. Once a code has been entered and the document has been submitted to final, it typically cannot be changed. | ||

Name | Enter a name to describe the document. The name does not have to be unique. | ||
| Description | Enter a description of the bill format. | |||
| Type | Select the bill format type. Available selections include: Client, Intercompany, and None. The default is Client. Only related records will be selected when the choice is Client or Intercompany. | |||
| Report | Enter or select the report used to generate bills. | |||
| Bill Report Structure |
Displays Bill Report Structure of Report. This should be set to BillReportAgencyPoolCPFFBillStructureDetail for BillAgencyPoolCPFF-Report report and BillReportBillStructureDetail for all other standard bill reports.

| Report Task Summary Document |
Displays the Report Task Summary Document from the report in the Bills Inquiry.

| Report Tax Document |
Displays the Report Tax Document from the report in the Bills Inquiry.

| Report Totals Document |
Displays the Report Totals Document from the report in the Bills Inquiry.

| Status |
Select the status of the document. |

Bill Controls
In the Bill Controls area, enter or select the bill controls associated with the bill format. Bill controls define what displays on a bill. For more information, seeFor more information, see Bill Control.

Note: Bill Controls cannot be added when Type is Intercompany. |
Bill Configurations
In the Bill Configurations area, enter or select the bill configurations and values associated with this bill format.
Selecting the Grouping checkbox limits the Configuration selections and the Allowed Values. For more information, seeFor more information, see Bill Configuration.
