Income Statement by Fiscal Period (Report)

The Income Statement by Fiscal Period report displays the actual General Ledger information for up to twelve (12) months by Fiscal Period. Also, this report has the capability to show Account Budgets for the Income Statement accounts by Fiscal Period for the same 12 months range.

The displayed account structure is based on the selected Account Map. The report includes a summary and detail view option. The summary view provides high-level information with the ability to drill-down into each of the levels. The detail view displays each section with an additional level of account information; it does not provide any drill-down or hide capabilities. Sample Report.

General

This General area provides options to configure the report.

Field	Description
Comment	Enter any comments about the report instance. Comments will display on the report console and the banner page of the report.

Restrictions

The report includes the following default restrictions:

Field		Description
	Fiscal Calendar	Enter or select a fiscal calendar. This is the definition of the fiscal years and posting periods for a specified fiscal year. This field defaults to the default fiscal calendar.
	From Fiscal Period	Enter or select a fiscal period. This is the first date in the date range to include items. This field defaults to the current fiscal period.
	To Fiscal Period	Enter or select a fiscal period. This is the last date in the date range to include items. This field defaults to the current fiscal period. Only Fiscal Periods greater than or equal to the From Fiscal Period are available. If a range greater than 12 periods is selected, only data for the To Fiscal Period and the previous 11 periods is presented.
	Account Map	Enter or select an account map. This is a hierarchical group of accounts in the system that is used to structure data on the report.
	Financial Type	Select if the report presents Actual orBudget. This field defaults to Actual .
	Currency Type	Enter or select the type of currency to display on the report. This field defaults to Company, but available options include Document, Company, and Base.
	Account Budget	Enter or select an account budget. This is a company's financial forecast for a range of posting periods, which is typically a financial year. This field is required when Financial Type is set to Budget.
	Include Image	Select to include an image. This field defaults to the image defined for the Report Model or Theme.
	Include Banner	Select to generate the banner page on the report. By default, this field is set to generate the banner page.
	Display Detail	Select to generate detail level information in the report. By default, this field is set to generate the summary version of the report.
	Include Retained Earnings	Select to include retained earnings for the Fiscal Periods displayed.
	Monetary Scale	Select if the monetary values in the report should be scaled, or divided by a number, to reduce the amount of space used. By default, Ones is selected, but available options include None, Ones, Tens, Hundreds, Thousands, and Millions.
	Monetary Number of Decimals	Enter the number of decimal places to display for monetary values. By default two is selected, but the value can be between zero and three.
	Organization Map	Enter or select an organization map. This is a hierarchical group of organizations in the system that is used to structure data on the report.
	General Ledger	Select to include items from the general ledger. The default is true.
	Allocation Ledger	Select to include items from the allocation ledger. The default is false.

The report includes the following optional restrictions:

Sorts

The report includes the following sorts. A maximum of three sorts can be selected.

• Company Code
• Company Name
• Organization Code
• Organization Name
• Organization Map level 2 - 6 Name
