Tax Authority

The Tax Authority screen allows you to define an entity to which Taxes are reported. This is used for reporting purposes to select the taxes being reported.

General

In the General area, enter general information about the tax authority.

Field		Description
	Code	Enter a unique alphanumeric key to identify the document. Once a code has been entered and the document has been submitted to final, it typically cannot be changed.
	Name	Enter a name to describe the document. The name does not have to be unique.
	Return Currency	Enter or select a currency. This is the currency used to report taxes to the tax authority.
	Status	Select the status of the document.
	VAT Return Report	Enter or select the report that should be used when reports for this Tax Authority are produced.
