Currency
The Currency screen allows you to define currencies. Defined currencies are used for transaction, company, base, and project values. The currency Code is used on all reports and inquires.

General
In the General area, define the currency.

Code | Enter a unique alphanumeric key to identify the document. Once a code has been entered and the document has been submitted to final, it typically cannot be changed. |

Name | Enter a name to describe the document. The name does not have to be unique. |

Number of Decimals | Enter or select the number of decimal places. |
| Symbol |
Enter the graphic symbol used to represent a currency's name. For example, use $ for US Dollars. The currency Code, not the currency Symbol, is used on all reports and inquiries. |

Tolerance % | Enter the allowed percentage of deviation from the effective currency exchange rate. This field is for reporting purposes only. |
| Default Exchange Rate | The conversion rate at which the defined currency will convert to Base Currency. | |
| Status |
Select the status of the document. |
