Export Template (Screen Description)

The Export Template screen allows you to create a template of the columns to use when you export data with Export Request. The template is based on a specific Document To Export and Export Format, and it allows you to select the columns to include or exclude, change the order of the columns, and add custom columns with corresponding default values.

General

In the General area, enter basic information about the export template.

Field		Description
	Code	Enter a unique alphanumeric key to identify the document. Once a code has been entered and the document has been submitted to final, it typically cannot be changed.
	Name	Enter a name to describe the document. The name does not have to be unique.
	Status	Select the status of the document.
	Default Value	Enter a value that will be used as a convenience default for any new custom defined columns that you create.
	Document To Export	Enter or select the type of document to export data from. This list is limited to workflow and process type documents that you have access to in the system. For additional information about the available documents, see Export Formats.
	Export Format	Enter or select the export format to use when the data is exported. The available selections are based on the formats defined for the selected Document To Export. For additional information about the available formats, see Export Formats.

Available Properties

In the Available Properties area, select the properties to include in the export. The selected properties will be the columns in the export. When a Document to Export and Export Format are selected, the list is populated with all available properties defined for the export. In addition, custom properties can be added to the list, and the default display of the properties can be reordered.

Field		Description
	Caption	Enter or edit the name of the property that will be included in the export. In the export, this will be the column name.
	Value	For custom properties only, enter a value to use to fill the column in the export file. If a default value was previously configured, it will be automatically populated.
	Include	Select if the property should be included as a column in the export file. If you deselect, the property will be excluded from the export file.
