How to Create an Export Template
The Export Template screen allows you to create a template of the columns to use when you export data with Export Request. The template is based on a specific Document To Export and Export Format, and it allows you to select the columns to include or exclude, change the order of the columns, and add custom columns with corresponding default values.

- Create an Export Template.
- In Document to Export, select a BST11 document.
- In Export Format, select one of the available export formats defined for the selected Document to Export.
The Available Properties area is populated with all of the properties defined in the selected document and format. -
In the Available Properties area, use the following options to modify your list. This list represents the columns that will be included when you export data.
- Modify Caption: To modify a caption, click in the field and then edit the text. The text for both available and custom captions can be edited.
- Reorder Properties: Drag and drop the selected items to a position in the list. Select the row selector
for the selected items and then drag the row to the to the new position in the list. - Add Custom Property:To add a new custom property, click the Add
button. Enter a Caption and Value for the property. - Delete Custom Property: To delete a custom property, select the line item and then click the Delete
button. - Exclude Available Property: To exclude an available property, click to deselect the Include checkbox.
- Save and submit.
