Cash Cycle

Additional Information

The Cash Cycle visualizer allows you to view a list of cash cycle actuals and goals for a project. The project is selected from the Project Scorecard at the top of the tab.

The chart is organized by number of days and posting periods and display the Unbilled Days, Receivable Days, Cash Cycle Days, and Days to Bill values for each posting period.

 

Chart Data

AreaDescription
Number of DaysThe left-side of the chart, or the y-axis, displays number of days.
Period

The area below the chart, or x-axis, displays the last six posting periods, based on the current date. The posting periods are based on the selected Posting Calendar for the project.

Chart

The chart includes the following information. Goal lines are dotted and display in the same color as the actuals line.

  • Days to Bill: Displays the goal number of unbilled days.
  • WIP Days: Displays the number of work in progress days and is calculated as: In Progress Money Days / Unbilled Balance for the posting period.
  • Days To Collect: Displays the goal number of receivable days.
  • Receivable Days: Displays the number of receivable days and is calculated as: Receivable Money Days / Receivable Balance for the posting period.
