Derived Budget Rows

On the Project - Earned Value and Project Progress - Earned Value tabs and the Project - Budgets and Project Progress - Budgets tabs as well as the Project - Tasks tab - Budgets Split, authorized organizations that were not explicitly budgeted in the system may display because actual charges, or transactions, have occurred on the task. If Effort is generated, it will display on the Earned Value row. These rows are indicated by a white flag icon in the Flag column.

In Project, if you add a budget to a derived budget row in any of the tabs or make other edits in Earned Value and process the project, an actual budget row will be created, and the white flag will no longer display when the project is re-opened.

Because budget rows cannot be created in Project Progress, derived budget rows will display but cannot be edited in either of the referenced Project Progress tabs.
