Collection Note (Inquiry)
Additional Information
The Collection Note Inquiry allows you to query for and view a listing of collection notes. In addition, authorized users can edit collection notes information and add actions. By default, the results are sorted by Bill Client and Bill Number.
This inquiry provides the ability to view more details and edit a document using the inquiry split pane. Click the View
button and then select the Split Pane option. For more information, see View Additional Details in the Split Pane.
Restrictions
The inquiry includes the following default restrictions:

Aging Criteria | Select the date to age against. Choices are: Document Date or Due Date. |

Aging Date "As Of" | Enter or select an "as of" date. This is the date used for comparison in the aging process. The default is the current date. |
| Bill Client | Enter or select one or more clients. This limits the results to collection notes associated with the selected clients. | |
| Bill Number | Enter or select one or more bill numbers. This limits the results to collection notes associated with the selected bills. | |
| Collection Group |
The Collection Group is an Employee Group Document that you can create and assign employees. These groups are then assigned to the Bill Term of the project. The staff in these groups can add notes, actions and take other collections steps in the Collections Process. The Collections Group can be used to filter certain projects belonging to a specific Collections Group. |

| Project | Enter or select one or more projects. This limits the results to collection notes associated with the selected projects. | |
| Stage | Enter or select one or more collection note stages. This limits the results to opportunities in the selected stages. | |
| Status | Select the status of collection notes to include. | |

Results
The inquiry contains a single level of collection note information, which includes Actions, Bill Client, Bill Balance, Bill Number, Collection Group, Project, Source, and Stage. See

When you click to highlight a specific collection note, the split pane will display and appropriate actions may be performed. These are discussed at length in Collection Note.
