How To Generate Project Detail Adjustments

The Project Detail Adjustment screen allows you to apply adjustments to transactions while working from the project system point of view. Search criteria allows for filtering the existing transactions. An adjustment made to a transaction from Project Detail Adjustment updates the financial and billing system.

Search for Transactions

1. In the General area, enter the required Document Number and Project and any additional fields.
2. In the Transactions area, the restrictions From Posting Date, To Posting Date, From Transaction Date and To Transaction Date are required. The From and To Posting Dates and From and To Transaction Dates are used to limit the items returned during the search. For more information on how to enter restrictions, see Restrictions.
3. In the Transactions area, click the Run button.
   A list of project transactions that match the selections made for From / To Posting Dates and From / To Transaction Dates are displayed. New searches will add any additional new items to the current list.

Transactions Context Menu

1. In the Transactions area, select an item by highlighting it.

   • When multiple lines are selected, any actions will apply to all selected line items. The context tab, Transfer, is displayed below any selected lines. This context tab holds the To side of transfers. When an adjustment is applied to a transaction, the data in the context tab updates the corresponding line item and places the adjustment in the Project Detail Adjustments grid and the History grid.

   • The Reset option removes all line details that are not initial type entries.

2. Click the Apply button to make the adjustment on a transfer or reset. The updated adjustment displays in the Adjustments grid and the historical information for each adjustment displays in the History grid.

   Note: Adjustments and History line items can be updated if required.

3. Click the next to the Apply button to display the Cancel button to cancel a transaction adjustment.
