Vendor Invoice Routing

The Vendor Invoice Routing screen allows you to establish a group of Routers (employees) with the companies they can use and the location where invoices, to be routed by this group, will be received.

General

In the General area, enter the routing information.

Field Description

Code

Enter a unique alphanumeric key to identify the document. Once a code has been entered and the document has been submitted to final, it typically cannot be changed.

Name

Enter a name to describe the document. The name does not have to be unique.

 

Router Group

Select the group of active employees to be available as routers of the invoice.
 

All Companies

Indicates if the routers can route invoices for all companies. This is read-only and selected by default.
 

Primary Company

Displays the company chosen as the primary company.
 

Status

Select the status of the document.

Available status are Active, Ignore and Inactive.

Companies

In the Companies area, enter company information for the allowed companies.

Field Description

Company

Select the company for vendor invoice routing. The company chosen must have an active status.

  Primary

Select to assign this company to all invoices received using this routing.

Only one company can be the primary choice. Selecting a company as the primary company will deselect any other company selected as the primary.

If the primary is deleted and there is more than one company, none of the remaining companies will be set to primary.

 

Note: It is not required that one of the allowed companies be selected as the default.

Routing File Locations

In Routing File Locations, enter file location information where the vendor invoice will be received.

Field Description

Routing File Location

Select the file location where the vendor invoice will be received.

A Routing File Location cannot exist on another Vendor Invoice Routing document in Draft or Final that was not Canceled.

  File Location

Displays the location path of the file that is being routed.

 

Status

Displays the status of the Routing File Location.
